Free Will Theatre  

is formed by Cheung Kwan Yu ( Sheena) and Wong Yuk Tak (Tak Tak) from Hong Kong. Free Will combines the Chinese characters of目 (‘muk’), which represents the eye and the symbol of the heart, and乙(jyu) which represents the perching bird. The combination of the two is therefore symbolic of an observing bird, following one’s heart.

 

 

Founded in 2011, Free Will Theatre enjoys travelling and exchanging, and has been to places such as Eastern Europe, Japan, India, Xiamen, ,Qiao Country for artistic and cultural exchanges, and occasionally holds exhibition( Museum of Hope), Performance ( Efil) and drama and senses workshop.

2011, Participating in the international children festival in Sibenik ( Croatia)、Schaexpir (Austria)、Kijimuna festa(Okinawa) for workshops and exchange with young artists.

2012,Participating in the International puppet festival in Russia, Tchir Tchayan, experiencing the relationship between theatre, ritual and the nature.

2012, Helping《Connection of children》Hong Kong station

In 2013,attending workshops and performances in an International project《No Border Project》in Xiamen, China
